Our highly qualified team holds a range of certifications from Level 2 to Level 6, including Early Years Teacher status. We prioritise the safety and well-being of every child, with all staff completing extensive safeguarding training that is regularly updated to reflect the latest policies, procedures, and best practices in child protection. Additionally, key members of our team are certified in paediatric first aid, ensuring expert care is always available on site.
At Little Olives, we offer a variety of educational and enrichment programs that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our children. Our curriculum incorporates elements of Forest School, Montessori, Reggio Emilia, and Hygge approaches, allowing staff to leverage their expertise and passion in their chosen fields. Children’s interests and developmental stages are central to our planning, ensuring personalized and engaging learning experiences.

Our Story
Our founder, Danielle, has over 16 years of experience in childcare and has been a trusted local childminder in Sheffield and Rotherham for the past 5 years.
Due to the overwhelming demand for her services and the excellent feedback she has received, Danielle established Little Olives Day Nursery to continue providing exceptional care and education. She aims to build a setting that maintains this trust and reputation while fostering a team of dedicated childcare professionals who are highly valued by the families they serve.
